4 unique pieces of art in wheat by Emma Bruschi designed for the first edition of the artists’ Porte-Couteaux Sensibles.

Fond of this forgotten element of the table that is the knife holder, I wanted to give free rein to the imagination and know-how of these artists, so that they take over this slightly obsolete object and offer it a new recognition.

Emma is inspired by the rural and agricultural environment, the working class wardrobe, the fauna and flora and all the know-how that comes with it. Since 2021 she has been growing rye on the family farm with the help of her uncle. This rye comes from a joyful day of harvesting with a scythe and is used for the production of her clothing, accessories and harvest bouquets. Her goal is to cultivate the land and work with her own materials: to combine the work of a farmer and a designer.
