Tailor-made pieces are shipped within a maximum of four weeks (unless otherwise specified). Ready-to-go pieces are shipped within a maximum of two weeks (unless otherwise specified).
If both Tailor-made and Ready-to-ship pieces are ordered at the same time, they will all be delivered according to Tailor-made’s delivery schedule. If you want to receive your Ready-to-go pieces before, please make separate orders.
We send all our packages with DHL Express, anywhere in the world. We charge the cost of shipping at the same price as it costs us. The price is displayed when you proceed with the order by filling in your shipping information.
taxes and duties
The prices of the products are expressed in euros, all taxes included and excluding customs duties. For orders outside the EU: we do not include the 20% French tax, however all applicable duties are to be paid by the customer. Unfortunately we cannot estimate the amount of duty you will have to pay, but your local customs should be able to estimate the price.
Œuvres sensibles cannot be held responsible for any action and/or costs and/or taxes and/or delays due to customs over which it has no control.
Œuvres sensibles insures each purchase during time in transit until it is delivered to you. All orders require signature upon delivery, at which point responsibility for the shipment passes on to you. If you have specified a recipient other than yourself for delivery purposes, you also accept that signature by the third party is sufficient proof of delivery and fulfillment by us.
returns and exchanges
If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.
We have a 14-day return policy: you have 14 days from when your order is delivered to ship it back to our studio for a refund or exchange.
There is no cancellation and exchange on made-to-order and custom-made pieces if the product has already gone into production. No return or exchanges on custom-made pieces.

Any claim must be submitted in 14 working days following receipt of the product(s). For any return, the Customer shall first contact the customer service via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org to inform it of his/her/its decision to use his/her/its right of withdrawal.
The Product(s) must be returned with a tracking number to:

Any parcel returned after the prescribed timeframe shall be refused and returned to the sender. No parcel returned as cash on delivery shipping shall be accepted, whatever the reason. The costs and risks pertaining to the return of product(s) are borne by the sender.
In order for the customer service to accept the return, the product(s) must be returned in full condition in its original packing, undamaged, accompanied by all of its accessories, and a copy of the purchase invoice.
The customer shall not have to justify the reasons or pay penalties, with the exception of return costs and all potential customs duties.
We cannot be held responsible in the event of loss, theft or damage of the parcel. Parcels for which the customer’s identification (surname, first name, address) is not possible shall be refused.
On receipt of the product(s) returned by the customer, the customer service shall send a confirmation of receipt of the product by e-mail.
Œuvres sensibles cannot undertake to reimburse the standard delivery costs.
Once we receive your returned item, it will be inspected and we will notify you on the status of your refund. If the return is approved, we shall reimburse the customer for the sums paid and corresponding to the acquisition of the returned products (therefore excluding potential customs duties), within a maximum period of 14 days by bank transfer into the account used with the credit card bearing the customer’s name.
Please note that a deduction can be made if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of you handling the goods more than necessary.
Items must be returned to us in perfect condition.
Make sure all products are exactly as you received them.
All products that come in their own box must be returned in their original, undamaged box as this is considered part of the product.
Please make sure to return all products that come in their own box inside another solid carton box to not damage the original packaging or wrap with kraft paper as in its origin.
