Knife-Rest by Léa Bigot
Knife-Rest by Léa Bigot
These knife-rests in pewter are unique pieces of art designed by Léa Bigot for the first edition of Porte-Couteaux Sensibles. They add a dash of charm while safeguarding your tablecloth from culinary chaos.
Fond of this forgotten element of the table that is the knife-rest, Sarah wanted to give free rein to the imagination and know-how of these artists, so that they take over this slightly obsolete object and offer it a new recognition.
Léa Bigot is an artist born on the island of Reunion from where she continues to draw constant inspiration. Sometimes she is inspired by the black rock of her native island, sometimes by the dazzling whiteness of the calanques, or by the old stones, vestiges of bygone eras, typical of the shores of the Mediterranean, where she lives and travels.
