The Shirt-Curtain From "A Well-Dressed Apartment"
The Shirt-Curtain From "A Well-Dressed Apartment"
This one-of-a-kind piece comes from the exhibition A Well-Dressed Apartment, presented in Paris in 2024 during Art and Design Week.
Imagined by Sarah Espeute, this textile creation is part of a project where the furniture of an apartment-gallery was literally dressed in refined textiles, transforming the space into a true wardrobe.
This Shirt Curtain was crafted from vintage beige damask linen, featuring handwoven white damask diamond motifs and indigo dye. It plays with the illusion and poetry of suspended garments.
A unique creation designed to interact with light and bring a textile presence full of character and singularity to your space.
Dimensions: 265 x 130 cm.
Care
We recommend professional cleaning to preserve the beauty and quality of this exceptional piece.
Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause colors to gradually fade over time.
Hanging Advice
Use 8 ring clips for a perfect fall. You can let the curtains hover just above the floor for a 'hanging garment' effect or allow them to pool gracefully for a more fluid, flowing look.
